I have been rewriting the scene with the gangsters in the bfp, since it previously didn't make sense to anyone, even me. Now, I've just remembered I need to ask papajoemambo something.

Okay, if you haven't seen Stop Me If You've Heard This One by shayheyred, go and read it. Preferably now. It's an interesting different take on the whole Kowalski/Volpe chestnut with some wonderful dark edges and provides a credible set up for the, uh, set up in Asylum.

The only conceivable reason I can think of not to read this is if slash and sex really don't turn your crank, and then it's not really as much about that as coincidences and how Ray Kowalski didn't blow his brains out.
