Tell me again, why do I need one of these things?

BBD went to see Fracture Clinic following his accident four weeks ago* and interestingly it transpired that it was not a dislocation of his shoulder but a fracture of his collar bone [called it!]. The specialist is baffled how anyone could possibly misdiagnose that and then relocate an intact shoulder joint. I knew it shouldn't have hurt that much and had pressured dad on getting it looked at as soon as we hit the ground.

It's taken so long to get to the fracture clinic as the nhs believes that people should break things with informing them beforehand or, failing that to fit into the appointment book.

Still writing the COYA. Haven't done any stitching. Have done too much Sim City -ing. I'm playing Sim City 2000 which was released in 1993 and is hard as nails. Emulation (aka DOSbox) is my friend. We had this game on our first computer and I haven't really improved much yet. I was 10 at the time.

ETA: on the CYOA front, the 1967 Pontiac GTO never came in black. source

*RECAP On vacation, Dad slipped in the shower/tub hit a wall corner, knocked himself silly, and dislocated his shoulder. Also, I like being right - I called broken collar bone before bbd even got into the ambulance.
