Tell me again, why do I need one of these things?

The plan was for the Detectives to find and arrest the felon and then Kowalski would throw the book at them.

Fraser surmised that since the only book Ray kept at the Precinct was a hefty tome called “Canadian Impressionism” this would indeed be the full weight force of the law.
  • Yes, I love your brain, I really really love your brain.

*points to icon of Fraser carrying "Canadian Impressionism"*

edited to add: I don't see the icon showing up here. Can you see it from "your side"?

  • I'm not sure if it is staying in. Things get writen over a lot and I overthink them. That said, Fraser is having one of the best days of his life so far and they too include traffic offenses.

The plan was for the Detectives to find and arrest the felon and then Kowalski would kick him in the head.

It's back in and I need to remind myself that I don't have to write a continuous narrative.

Darn, I no longer have my "how to be canadian" icon. The theme I use on this page is so ancient that it doesn't really do userpics [it's that or mangle everything horribly]

    • Huh, I did not even know that "page is so ancient that it doesn't really do userpics" was A Thing!

When you get the message that a comment has been posted, does the message show the icon?
      • I think I "renovated" it in 2006

They turn up in my e-mail but not by default. I live with computer programmers hence internet paranoia. Downloading pictures from sources you don't know can give the more dubious sender confirmation that yours is a "live address"

ETA: this is now past my official bedtime
Double ETA: I think your "not empty trousered" icon is beyond cool.
Treble ETA: I pick icons for my osts when I can't see them - I may be a little weird.

        • Re: your ETA: around midnight "your time, " eh?

Re: your Double ETA: glad you could see it eventually.

          Re: your Treble ETA: I don't think that's weird...but then, that's me.
  • My spell-checker actually recognises "ptarmigan" and unlike me can actually spell it

The case Lieutenant Walsh assigned to Fraser and Kowalski was as different as pemmican is from ptarmigan.
